Leadership that is bigger than you lead·er·ship (verb):

The art and science of accomplishing more than any one person can on their own.

What if your whole organization could lead? You came thinking you needed better systems. The truth is, you need the complete leadership package. Leadership skills in you and your team, and a system of leadership that gets everyone engaged in the vision. That is the work I do with you.

The Complete Leadership Package

Great leadership runs on two things working together

Leadership skills make decisions. Leadership systems carry the weight so you do not have to. You need both to make quality decisions quickly and act on them.

The Skills

How you lead

The human side. The judgment that no system can make for you.

  • Emotional intelligence. Reading the room, regulating your own nervous system, and co-regulating others.
  • Communication that lands and moves people to act.
  • Judgment. When to push and when to nurture. When to act and when to wait.
  • Strategic, critical, and tactical thinking, plus a feel for timing.
The Systems

How the work scales

The structure. What lets leadership live across the whole organization.

  • How you organize teams and structure decision-making power.
  • Clear processes for making decisions and getting things done.
  • A handle on the power dynamics that show up in every team.
  • Alignment systems that hire the right people and keep the whole team rowing in the same direction, fast and smooth.

Skills without systems means decisions stay slow, and leadership never scales past you. Systems without skills means decisions lose their quality, because a system can guide a decision but it cannot make one. Put them together and impact moves at the speed of your decisions, and the quality and quantity of your relationships.

How We Work

From doing it all to leading what matters

I bring scale, systems, marketing, and coaching to the table, all in service of one thing: building your complete leadership package. Here is the path.

1

We find the gap

Most leaders are strong on one side and thin on the other. We get clear on where your skills are carrying too much and where systems should be doing the work.

2

We build both sides

We sharpen the leadership skills in you and your team, and design the systems that let everyone own decisions. The right thing for the right moment, deployed instead of perfected.

3

You scale your impact

Your whole organization makes quality decisions quickly and acts on them. You stop being the bottleneck and start leading something bigger than any one person could build.

What Leaders Say

Leaders building something bigger than themselves

The Impact Method® is the single most powerful thing we have ever done for our nonprofit.

Jennifer Crews

Executive Director

For the first time, my team made the calls I would have made, and made them well. That is when I understood my real job was building leaders, not answers.

Maria Lawson

Founder & CEO

You set out to do something hard

Just making money is not that hard. Changing the world takes more. It takes a high-capacity team and the complete leadership package to carry it. If that is the work you are here to do, let's build it.

Meet Sarah

I am a leadership expert, and I know a lot about business

I know how to scale a business. I know marketing. I coach executives, and I build the systems and operations underneath the work. All of it points to one thing: leadership, the art and science of accomplishing more than any one person can on their own.

I am direct. I will tell you when something is a bad idea, because that is what a good leader does. I am warm but not sugary, supportive but honest, and I hold kind, sharp boundaries for the people I work with. When I am not working, I race sailboats, which is where I learned that the fastest boat is the one where everyone is rowing in the same direction, fast and smooth.

Sarah is a number-one international bestselling author and the creator of the Impact Method®. As co-founder of the Open Center for Autism, Executive Director of the Helping Children of War Foundation, and Deputy Director of GRASP, she has led from inside the work. She brings a systems-level clarity most leaders never get to experience, spotting the levers that matter and moving fast to create alignment across people, strategy, and execution.
